Pinehurst 2019

The 2019 Basking Cup Ryder Cup was a success as Long’s Lads overcame an early deficit to take the Cup. Fun golf after it poured the first day down there. We enjoyed the new Pinehurst Brewing company which had good food with an excellent choice of beers. We enjoyed, as we last year, the shrimp and grits at the Country Club of North Carolina. The star in my mind was some of the best blueberry pancakes I have had. A small building in the Pinehurst race track hid an excellent breakfast spot called The Pinehurst Track.
