This trip to Aruba we decided to take the “kids” Tyler, Connor and Tyler’s wife Allie (ALLISON but that is a long story) 🙂 Me and Leslie started the trip off with dinner at Fred restaurant. This chef’s table restaurant is run by the chef Fred and our host Tom. The food was amazing and the dining experience the best we have had ever, anywhere! The five courses were paired with wine and we had breaks to talk to Tom and the other 12 foodies out on the patio. The ingredients were perfect and I loved the mustard seed soup which I had never had before. Here are my photos of the menu and food:

Based upon Fred’s recommendation we went to a new restaurant called the Lobby and although our judgment impaired after the Pirate Ship experience, I really liked the food. Other restaurants we went to were the Screaming Eagle, Smokey Joes (for ribs), Madam Janette’s (awesome Lobster Thermador and other appetizers), Passions on the Beach with a great sunset view, but we were thrilled by the brunch at the golf course Tierra del Sol. Unlimited mimosa’s and small portions of our choice with a great view made this our favorite brunch anywhere!
