New Jersey Breweries updated 12/10/23 in order with comments

New Jersey

  1. Kane – Nothing compares in NJ and a number of high ABV Beers
  2. Carton – One of the originals and many good beer options.
  3. Magnify – Fairfield – Could use better outdoor area but good beers.
  4. Troon Brewery – Hopewell (near Montgomery HS) – Very good beers, awesome dog park with outside beers available. Only problem is that the brewery itself is constantly out of beers in cans. Nice restaurant with beers on tap. Voted best brewery for dogs in NJ.
  5. Jughandle Relatively unknown brewery but consistently good beers.
  6. Fort Nonsense – Randolph – Nice outside area and 3 good beer; the rest middle of the road.
  7. Oakflower- Millington – Really nice renovation job and the small porch is great for dogs but would be nice if bigger. Quite a few good beers including a Mexican beer. Nice location as opposed to the usual commercial strip mall.
  8. Seven Tribesman – Wayne, New Jersey. Nice area for outside with picnic tables and great for dogs.
  9. River Horse – Ewing. Small tasting room and has become more than a microbrewery.
  10. Autodidact – Well done taproom. Needs stronger beers.
  11. Cork City – Hoboken – Dog friendly and has some nice oak barrel beers.
  12. Twin elephant – Chatham Good beers in area near Summit and Chatham town centers.
  13. Diamond Spring – Denville -Nice outside area
  14. Triumph Brewery – Princeton
  15. Glenbrook – Morristown – Should be better considering location in downtown.
  16. Long Valley Brewing – More of a restaurant.
