We have tried some pretty good new restaurants recently and last night we went to Stirling Craft Kitchen in Randolph which is related to Stirling Tavern in Morristown. I particularly liked what the chef did with my Halibut. The bed was couscous but the toppings were dried fig, pistacio’s and mint – unusual but very tasty. Leslie had a nice scallop dish on risotto. Place needs more customers though.
We also tried Oreale Mexican restaurant in Morristown and were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the Mexican food.
We liked Toca Vez in Basking Ridge which is in the old Vine location. Definitely worth trying, the steak was good but if you are in the area, Bistro 73 is better and more reasonable.
